I'm glad that I followed my instinct! I received cheaper quotes then Rust Auto Shippers gave me, but I had a bad experience with a cheaper company before who promised me anything and everything. I ended up paying a lot more then the original quote because my car was 11 days late and had a $1583 worth of damage on the bumper of my BMW 535.nRust Auto delivered my new baby, a MB S550 from Boston to San Francisco on time without any issues. Sam, their driver kept me on the loop during the transport. Darline patiently answered all my questions and was easily reachable when I had new ones. I was pretty impressed with their service. Hopefully I don't have to ship a car again anytime soon, but if I have to, then Rust Auto is my ultimate choice!nThank you Darline!

Rust Auto was easy to work with and the staff were great, but we had a major problem during shipping that cost use almost $600 to resolve and we were never full compensated for Rust Auto's mistake.nnThe dates of delivery were incorrect on our contract and my two sons based their entire trip around the delivery date to Seattle as promised on the contract. Instead, they had to rebook their flights right before Christmas to fly into Boise, ID to pick up the car instead of the original destination Seattle. Then they had to drive to their final destination in Vancouver, BC. It's a good thing that Rust Auto Shipper's subcontractor C2C contacted us about the discrepancy in delivery dates otherwise we would have never known. My son's would have shown up in Seattle and would have waited 7 to 10 days for the car to show up.nnWhen we contacted Rust Auto about the error, they admitted it was there fault and they failed to change the delivery dates on the contract (which we checked several times and discussed with them). Still they were NOT willing to fully compensate us for our extra costs which came to almost $600 for flight cancellation fees, hotels, and gas since they had subcontracted the hauling. We felt we were very reasonable and fair with what we asked for, but we ended up receiving just a little over $200.nnRust Auto's contract is very one sided and does not include an arbitration clause, so there are few avenues to recover costs should something like this happen. So, you roll the dice when you leave your car off.

I decided to try these guys because they were close by and they told me they only used their own drivers. I paid a couple hundred dollars more because I’ve had bad experiences with the typical brokers. Well, they brokered the Car out to another company. They were 4 days late with all sorts of cockamamie excuses. Their contact with me was almost non existent and they told me to work thru the other trucking company. The driver wouldn’t deliver to my home saying the truck was too tall. This didn’t make sense as I’ve had other cars delivered.nBottom line is this company stinks.
