This is an enormous fabric store. Old school place in a rundown building. They seem to be very knowledgeable and have a large inventory

We found a representative on the floor with the upholstery fabrics incredibly rude. He met us and the first thing he wanted to know was if we were buying from them or just looking. We found this odd because how do know if you find something to your liking if you're not given a chance to look We reported this difficulty to the president of the United Fabrics immediately.nnWe will be sure to let our decorator and her clients know to go elsewhere! One star is one too many!

Uodate - Though my first visit to Exeter Handkerchief Co was so positive with warm and friendly staff, the rudeness of the man at the store during my recent visit means I will not return.nnFirst review - Great spot for fabric. The third floor is a bargain filled with remnants for $9 a yard - $6 on Tuesdays. Staff is knowledgeable and friendly. The location at the train station can make parking a challenge but there is plenty of parking out back.
