My dog passed suddenly from what was probably a blood clot. It happened just before everything got really serious about this pandemic. When everything started to shut down, I told myself to accept that we would never be able to bring her ashes home. I was able to get her today at my e-vet's office thanks to Greener Pastures. There is a delay on the urn that we wanted because the manufacturing facility is shut down but they made sure that I got her back and that's the really important thing. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
Just dropped off our little kitty Chrissie (Nov 2019). It was wonderful having a local place and such nice people running the service. Ed was able to make 2 prints for me, one for me and one for a shelter worker that Chrissie never forgot despite living with me for 9 years (she and her sister, named for that shelter worker, were 4yo at adoption.) Will be picking her up when she's ready in a day or so, when she can join the others who went before her, especially her main squeeze who we lost in April 2018.nThank you Erin and Ed.nnStill 5 stars - October 26 my not quite 22 yo Katie moved on. She was with me over 21.5 of those years, so this was especially hard. I made sure to get a special box for her (complimentary urn used while waiting for shipment) and a locket, along with her paw prints. Ed makes it a little easier to let our special kits go.
My cat of 16 year had to be put down late week. Erin and Ed, were very compassionate and caring.
I am so very grateful to Greener Pastures for their outstanding service and compassion during a very difficult time for my family and I. I was grieving, and then stressed not knowing what to do when my dog died over the weekend. They were willing to come that same day to pick up my dogs remains, and walked through options for cremation services with zero pressure. When Ed came to pick up my dog he was extremely professional, respectful, and showed a deep amount of compassion for our loss. I highly recommend them.
