My family has been associated with Terri’s Cakes Detroit for years! I have used this bakery for family events and have never been disappointed! The Carrot Cake and cupcakes are sublime! And the German Chocolate cheesecake is absolute HEAVEN! With all that being said, the care and concern put into our orders, attention to detail and professional customer service by far outshine the rest! Dealing with Terri’s Cakes has been the most unprofessional experience of my natural life. I called at least a week an a half ago to order a cake for my girls birthday. I was told that the owner was going on vacation. Okay no worries; will she be able to complete an order for 4/3 due to this fact? “Yes we can have it done for and ready for Saturday 4/3.” I had my girl call and provide the order that she wanted. A few days later my girl called to check on the order and was told that no order was taken and please provide the order again. One day before 4/3 my girl calls to check on the order and is given little to no explanation that our order can not be fulfilled. No courtesy to call us, no courtesy to explain that it’s too close to fulfill, no courtesy to apologize or even be kind. No reason to ever do business with them. My girl also stated the lady had an attitude with her, as if she was upset to get an order. Don’t waste your time with this establishment.

I am so happy with Terri's Cakes Detroit. She is exceptional at customer service and her chocolate vegan cupcakes were delicious!nnI live out of state and wanted to send my son some vegan cupcakes to celebrate the day. They were delivered with a smile on the date requested. My son loved them!!nnTerri and her staff our awesome!!!

I wanted to treat my friend who works in health care and couldn’t think of a better way than with Terri’s Cakes. We ordered two dozen cupcakes and they were as beautiful as they were delicious. Ordering was easy as well. Can’t wait to order more soon.

Terri’s Cakes Detroit has been a favorite baker of mine since they opened up. The carrot cake is to die for but I recently ordered the Cupcakes in the Jar which were perfect for me event! They arrived fresh, quickly and all flavors were delicious! I appreciate the safety precautions and options given to customers, the responsiveness and attention to detail! Delicious and amazing service!!
