I don't write reviews too often, but felt like Motor City received a huge high five for an outstanding job on the sale and delivery of our new hot tub! Finding a hot tub during the pandemic is no easy task. Many dealers don't have any inventory, and to order one takes 6-9 months or more. But Motor City has a ton of hot tubs in stock, seemed like at least 100 to choose from!nnFrom the first walk in the door, to the well-trained sales staff who were patient with lots of questions, to the white glove delivery and setup, this is a first-class operation. Thanks to Scott, Joe, and the rest of the team for exceeding my expectations!

This is going to be a long review, but please read if you’re looking to buy a hot tub, you’ll see why I gave this place five stars!!! We purchased a high end hot tub from Motor City back in April of 2020. The buying experience was fantastic. The staff was super friendly and nice and our salesman was incredibly knowledgeable, which was great since this was our first tub and we knew nothing about which ones were best and why. After selecting the top of the line Coastal Spas model with a waterfall and infinity edge, we had it quickly delivered. That was another great experience. The delivery guys and installation tech were efficient and definitely knew what they were doing. They had the tub filled and running before they left. The tech did notice that a little gauge on the side was not working so he told us he’d send a repairman out the next day to take a look. Well, long story a little shorter... we had to have repair people out for the next five days straight! The tub kept having computer errors (yep, even hot tubs have computers!!!) and all kinds of issues. Our first foray into the hot tub world was not going well. The guys as Motor City could not have been more terrific though. They were even more upset than we were, and so frustrated that this was happening to us. They literally did every single thing they could think of to fix it. Finally, they told us, extremely apologetically, that they believed for some reason this particular tub was just defective from the manufacturer and that they would replace it for us. They were as good as their word. Not only did they replace it, they replaced it with an upgraded model of the tub we chose, that included a towel warmer, which is very much appreciated now that it’s January! Although we had the all of the problems we had with our initial tub, I would recommend Motor City Hot Tub to ANYONE looking to buy one. Our experience was not their fault, it was just a one in a million fluke in the manufacturing. Motor City stood behind their sale. They stood with us and honored their promise to make sure we were completely satisfied. A hot tub is a big investment. You want to buy from someone who won’t take your money and run. The owners and staff at Motor City truly know the meaning of customer service and do business honestly and honorably. Go get an incredible hot tub or spa from MOTOR CITY. You won’t regret it!!!!!

Great staff. Knowledgeable, enthusiastic, and interested in satisfying consumers questions and finding the right hot tub for them. Cares about customer satisfaction. Just got our hot tub. Some minor concerns initially, but addressed right away. Motor city does back their products, making you feel confident with a purchase from them. Loving our hot tub!

Nice staff! Very helpful. Knowledgeable about their products. Coast was the nicest hot tub we found. Installation crew was great! Very pleased with the whole experience. We did have to wait several months to get our tub, but it was worth the wait and we got to order exactly what we wanted.

My husband and I purchased a Dynasty Tide spa from Motor City in the spring. We had it delivered in June. It leaked until the end of October. It took the service technician three visits over the span of three months before the leak could finally be fixed. We had to fill the hot tub every day and our water bill was over $1800! To operate the Bluetooth a code is required, it took many calls before I finally got an answer. Customer service is poor and the product isn't much better.nCostco's return policy is amazing and the cost of hot tubs is a fraction of the price. We paid over $11,000. Please be skeptical of the validity of these other google reviews. We read them and thought we had a good place, but now I am thinking friends and family members of Motor City Hot Tub wrote these reviews.
