Consulate General of Lebanon

The Lebanese consulate in Michigan were very helpful. I needed a supporting document to present to my airlines showing that my passport is valid for entry to Lebanon shortly before it expired (when I intended to travel). I asked the consulate for that document and they were very responsive. They wrote a draft and consulted me for feedback. They then mailed it to my residence in MN and wished me happy holidays.

Very helpful bunch of people. They need help moving people in and out faster but I was able to accomplish what I needed to do.

I wish I can give negative 0 star review for this. I called few weeks ago to apply for visa to visit Lebanon but I was told I need approval from Lebanese general security before they can grant me visa. I called the General security in Lebanon and was told this embassy should be the one helping me get the approval. Every time I called the consul they make me feel like as if I shouldn’t be calling them by saying they’ll call me, yet no update at all or assurance that they are working on getting the approval. Deeply disappointed, I wish this isn’t my district and can go to different Lebanese embassy. I’m on the process of accepting that this embassy probably not like foreigners visiting the country. I don’t recommend this place and I hope the higher officials will take a look at this embassy in particular.nnFYI, I am not a US citizen, the embassy assumed everyone that lives in the states holds USA citizenship

Why bother put a phone number on your website if you will never answer the phone or if you answer it and promiss to call us back but it will never happen.nIt is easier for me to win the lottery than get an answer from you on how to do a POA and send it to Lebanon.nIf anyone bothers reading my feedback here please listen to the voice mails and call me back.nYou reminded me why I immigrated from Lebanon and why I will never go back...
