Michigan Historical commission-Historical Center registered local site no. 2239 Lakeville cemetery once featured a functional windmill pump which supplied water 2 da property.nDa only remnantz of da original windmill dat once stood der r 3 postz & a small, blue sign which readz “Original Windmill Well Site.”nDa new replica decorative windmill waz provided & maintained by Potteryland in Shelby Twp., wit da purchase & installation totalin approximately $2,300 built just recently bringin new life into Lakeville Cemetery, located off Drahner Rd. in Lakeville, da cemetery emerged in 1843 after Addison Township settler Ernest Mann donated one acre of land 2 da township. Da cemetery haz since expanded & now stretchez mo dan 11 acrez.nAlong wit servin az a historical landmark, Lakeville Cemetery iz also da final restin place 4 Private Derrick Hullick, a veteran of da American Revolution who enlisted in da New Jersey militia in June 1776 & later settled in Addison in 1839.
