Very easy to work with! Went out of their way to work with me and develop the perfect sign for me all via phone and text. In addition it turned out beautifully and was very reasonably priced. Would highly recommend Janish Woodworking!

Janish Woodwork did a wonderful timely job for us, there wood selection is the best we've seen here in Michigan. We picked a beautiful piece of maple and they made a Great Lakes map fit the piece. We highly recommend them for your wood products.

I have been a wildlife woodcarver for many years and have carved basswood from many sources. I recently became a customer of Janish Woodworks, Inc. Janish's basswood is some of the best I've ever had the pleasure of carving -- clear, kiln dried, straight grained. I've finished one powertool carving with it, so far, and am working on the second. I love to carve wildlife, but carving is so much more fun with such high-quality basswood. Also, the communications I've had with and from Janish have been delightfully friendly and professional. I will most certainly be buying more basswood from this good company.

Awesome retailer, for both in store & website shopping! I purchase and use their high quality kiln dried wood slices in a variety of species. Janish offers live edge slabs, Burl slabs, dry killed hardwoods, taxidermy plaques, basswood carving blocks, etc. I’ve also seen some of their beautiful laser engraved signs. They’re a family-run business in the northern part of lower Michigan. Great people to work with!!!nThe attached pic is a sign I made with a Wormy Maple wood slice from Janish!
