I came to East Jordan because I needed jalapeños and the Charlevoix store only had a few that weren't that great looking. East Jordan store didn't disappoint on the jalapeños, but only had one lane open and long lines. With no self checkout I was forced to hang out and wait in line, but at least I got what I came for.
A little on the pricier side and recently went for some produce- big mistake! MOLD on some strawberries for sale and just nasty produce overall. BUT clean store, and always friendly to me when I visit. Wish the Family Fare near me had a better variety and selection as others in general area but they do carry a few of my favorite new food brands- all local!
Good place to pick up some things while up north. Family fare is a staple in West Michigan, a trusted name in grocery quality.
Family Fare ( Glen's Market) main store. Probably one of the more themed locations. Highlights on outside have dancing maniquins dancing next to clock on the hour. Starbucks and Dairy Queen bonuses inside.
