What a neat little spot to stop and a grab a whoopee pie or maple cookies! This little road side bakery is the best. I highly recommend grabbing atleast 2 of everything! You won't a be disappointed! Make sure your grab the wild maine blueberry jam its amazing!!! Will stop in again.
Lather road side surprise.. what a nice little farm stand/bakery .. delicious pies and cookies.. they still are on the honor system so don’t expect to wait for someone to greet you.. put ur cash in the big milk jug at the drives edge .. cash only!
I’ve been wanting to stop and try some of the goodies. I finally got the chance and wow is it good. Maple cookies, whoopie pie’s and a blueberry pie. All are amazing. I regret waiting so long.
What can I say this place is the best.
You can't drive a mile on these roads without coming across self-serve farm-fresh eggs or camp wood, which is convenient, but a self-serve stand with fruit pies, whoopie pies, maple cream cookies, and fruit preserves takes things to another level on the back roads of Maine. Pick yourself up a treat after sliding on the Step Falls a little up the road.
