Great store with lots to choose from. I always buy my holiday decorations here. They have some good quality stuff too.

Dollar Tree store, Augusta, Maine. A couple of weeks ago, my husband and I were standing in line at the cash register when all of a sudden cashier Yvonne started throwing her hands up in the air, screaming extremely loud at a (polite!) customer who preferred not to touch the button on the device for the receipt. She kept going on and on about how tired she was about people wearing gloves, not wanting to touch things, being scared to get sick,... Just awful! I felt sorry for the customer. We went to another cash register where the line was a lot longer but it was worth the wait. I will never go back to this store. If an employee throws a tantrum like that, I don't know what else she is capable of doing. At some stores, employees who treat customers like that would be fired on the spot. I have seen it happen. But I guess that only happens in stores where customers are appreciated and treated with respect.

You can run in to get a couple things in 5 minutes and wait 20 minutes to pay. More than once I put my would-be purchases- down and left because it wasn’t worth the wait.nIf you need any sort of help, don’t bother asking because they’ll act like they can’t hear you, or they’re just so busy that they don’t know you’re there. It’s a good place for cheap party stuff and balloons.

I've been to the store and the cashiers have always been wonderful and friendly. I went today and the 2 cashiers were not wearing their masks properly. They were wearing them only covering their mouth. When I spoke to them, they started being very rude and telling me that I haven't read all the studies about carbon monoxide. I feel that if I have to wear a mask as their door sign tells me, than they should have to also, or at least wear them properly. I don't usually speak up in these instances, or write bad reviews, but they were extremely rude and I feel like others may encounter them and have a bad experience also.
