I was unable to receive the information I requested from the main office. They would not put me in touch with the local facility. Poor customer service.

***Update***nAfter multiple phone calls and time I will never get back, I was finally able to find a solution. I received a phone call from someone on an escalation team who reached out to the local facility to find some type of agreement. In the end, I was offered the delivery ONLY ON A THURSDAY for an additional $450.00. As the day approached, I researched more and found that there are many reasons the POD still may not be dropped off including power lines or driveway issues and if any of these issues come up, they will not refund the delivery fee. As this was out new home and I wasn't 100% sure these problems could arise, I ended up having to cancel the agreed upon delivery and had to have a moving company unload the POD at the facility, load it onto their truck, and deliver it to our new home. Overall, I would not recommend this company and they were not at all helpful. It should not have to take multiple phone calls, and escalation, and a phone call from corporate headquarters (the called me because of this review or my Google review) to solve a problem.nnI’ve been dealing with PODS customer service for a few days now. They are refusing to drop off my POD at our current address. They keep saying they are reaching out to this specific facility, but whenever I call back there is no documented conversation, which they say there should be. I’m reaching out to see if someone at this location will help. The Facebook review is included below. It should also be noted, this is almost exactly an hour further than the original address. This after already having the POD delivered cross country from Arizona to Maine. Please help.nnFacebook ReviewnI’m beside myself. I don’t know what we are going to do. When I called and advised we were moving cross country, the agent assured me they could take care of us and make it easy. I told them we didn’t have a definite address yet as we were looking for homes across the state. Again, I was assured this wouldn’t be an issue. When I called today to get my POD delivered, I was told the area we moved to, just outside Bangor, was not an area they service. When I asked what that meant they said, and I quote, “you’re going to have to rent a U-Haul and unload your stuff at the facility.” I am pregnant and not able to help my husband just load and unload our stuff (no heavy lifting). We are alone in Maine. We were already going to have to hire someone to unload the heavier stuff from the pod, but now they want us to pay to ship out stuff to Maine (just under $4,000, by the way) and then pay someone to not only unload, but to go unload the pod into a moving truck, drive the two hours to our new home, and then unload ALL of the stuff into our house. This on top of standard expenses that come with moving that we all know adds up. I asked if we could pay a little more to have the pod delivered since I know it’s out of the way and they said no. I also asked if they could credit us the difference for having to pay for additional moving expenses and they said no as well. Other than these two solutions I had to come up with, they offered no solutions at all or attempt to resolve the issue. I asked for a supervisor multiple times and whenever the agent returned I was told what the lead said, but never actually transferred to a lead. Finally I was told I would get a call back but that they won’t be able to help me, so waiting on that call back now. This wouldn’t be so frustrating but I was told that it wouldn’t be an issue in the very beginning. I always plan ahead so things like this DON’T happen. Mistakes happen, but excellent companies make it right. That’s not what is happening here. I’m happy to change this review if the issue is actually resolved, but so far no one has offered a single solution.

Not impressed so far. Drove thirty five miles to talk to people in person. The web site said they were open until ten pm and gave that address. Did not mention that there is no customer service office there. Apparently you have to call. I did that prior to driving there. Had a nine minute wait to talk to someone. Should hire more people! I was driving close to there any way so it wasn't a total waste of time but very frustrating. That you have to do everything on line and hopefully find the answers your looking for. Overall not impressed. Maybe there customer service is ok once you get to actually talk to someone.

My driver was friendly, accommodating, and professional. Pretty cool to see the way these get moved.

Everything was perfect except for the delay in picking up the empty POD and being billed for an extra month which they said would be refunded but still waiting a month later. The perfect way to ruin an otherwise perfect moving experience.
