This place was recommended by a friend. Dirty place , no sanitation. Watched the cashier wipe her nose a few times then touch tongs and trays. Not good mix with McHenry County covid numbers rising.

If you are looking for authentic Mexican pastries, this little hole in the wall is the place to go. I absolutely love this place and have been coming here religiously for about 10 years or so, since it opened really. This is not an over priced or luxurious place but the baked good are outstanding. If I had to give this a grade I would give it an A. Because of the fallowing: the price, customer service and baked goods. I can walk out with two full bags of baked goods for under $15. The women that is working the front desk is very friendly as well. Since I have been visiting this place for a while she always goes out of her way and askes me how my family is doing. The baked goods are very authentic as well. Both my parents, whom grew up in Mexico City, love this place. If native Mexican are eating this, you know its authentic.
