This store has served the needs of Annawan and its farming Community since 1939. Most of these small grocery stores can't offer the fresh meat on sale at L&J. I think they've got a connection to a ranch where they raise the beef nice and fresh. The chicken comes from Tyson. The pork awaits you, selling at rather low prices. I find everything to be clean and fresh. There's a few grocery stores and small communities where are the cans gather dust. Not this little Hometown Market no no no. they are entrepreneurial. They'll help you with your catering if you need it. Need a quick lunch? Check back in the deli. They have ready to take out waiting for you.

Fair prices and friendly people love this store
We hired Jeff and his team to cater our daughter's wedding. From the first meeting where we tasted the menu, communicating and answering all my questions before the wedding, and going above and beyond during our wedding we could not have asked for a better experience. Who's cater helps wipe down chairs before the ceremony so we could start on time? Jeff remembered my daughter was gluten and dairy free and made sure she could eat all the food even when she asked him not to. The food was delicious also! We highly recommend them! Thanks for making the evening so special!
