I don’t often stop at this bakery. The quality is somewhat hit-or-miss. Years ago, Davis was the place to get a great donut. Sometimes they’re delicious (when they’re delicious...they’re REALLY delicious)! Other times (like today) the danish was frozen and dry. I would have given fewer stars if it weren’t for the great customer service. When I called to let them know about my experience, they were more than happy to make it right. Hoping for continued progress with consistent quality. I think the new owners are still finding that “sweet spot”. I love buying local and want to be able to do so every time a donut is what I want. I will definitely try again.nnBy the way, the atmosphere and merchandise are great additions! Way to make a hometown business look like the place to be.
Had a pleasant experience and some great food. Enjoyed my visit. Would recommend to anyone looking for a hometown bakery in our area.
Still the same as it's always been. Been getting pink cookies with my grandma from David Pastry since I was little. Now I get to share that experience with my son. As you can tell from the photo, he also approves. A must stop if you're from out of town.
