Shawn's approach to chiropractic care and business management are unlike any I have ever seen. In addition to traditional chiropractic adjustments, he addresses the muscles surrounding the spine. He explains that he doesn't see any real value in repositioning the spine if the muscles around it are just going to push it out of line again. That's actually what FIT stands for: function integrated techniques. At first I worried that it would be an uber-athletics-focused clinic where I would not feel comfortable. I couldn't have been more happy to be wrong. Truly, since switching to FIT, I went from needing an adjustment every week to needing one every two or three weeks.nnShawn's business model is unique in Bettendorf. He doesn't bill insurance companies. He does not have a receptionist, booking appointments and doing the accounting himself. He passes his reduced prices on the therapeutic products that he sells to his clients.
