Mel's Sweet Occasions

I’ve had Mel do custom shortbread cookies for me and just had her create a custom birthday cake for me. Her baked goods are SO beautiful with such detail that I feel guilty eating them. Even better, they taste delicious. My entire family and I were so impressed not only by how my cake looked, but the taste and texture were unbelievable. Although we live in Des Moines, my husband is a pal of Mels dad and so has been the happy recipient of Mels cookies. All of them outstanding, the most recent out-of-this-world have been coconut macaroons dipped in chocolate. Wow!

Mel did my wedding cake, and it was so delicious! My husband and I followed tradition and froze the top tier of our cake to enjoy together on our first anniversary. You guys, even after a year in the freezer, this cake tasted SOOOO good! Mel delivers a personal touch, and you can tell she puts her heart into her work. Working with her was so easy, and she brought my dream wedding cake to life! I cannot recommend her enough!
