DON’T LISTEN TO THE BAD REVIEWS!! Village Inn is a great place the food is amazing the hash brown....SLAP. SERIOUSLY and on Friday's they have the all you can eat fish fry. Don’t worry my guy it will be worth every penny. But seriously go there it is so good and the people are really nice it feels like going to your grandma’s house with good food and nice people.

Wasn't impressed. Took 15 min to get service. Then placed looked dirty, air vents really dirty and greasy. Biscuits and gravy weren't eatable. Red stuff sprinkled over the plate. Biscuits and gravy is 2 biscuits with crumble sausage gravy not sausage patties. Glass of apple juice came to the table after I had started to eat. Never again.

Always a great place to eat and visit with loved ones. Under new management, it is now a franchise store. Love to support local owners.

We loved our dining “experience” today (4/8/21). Kaile Haynes greeted us right away with a smile and positive energy (I liked her right awayud83dude0a). She brought our 2 black coffees right away and fully answered all our questions about “what’s good on the menu & why”.... Her easy conversational way of being, her attention to detail (she checked on us regularly to make sure all was “ok”) just made Village Inn (Ames, Ia) our new “go to” place from now on!! We were just really comfortable with everything...(even the cushions in the booth we sat at, were “perfect”). Thanks Kaile Haynes for your kindness, in a world that has seemed to have forgotten what “kindness” is all about. You made our day !!!! ud83dude01

Great. The manager Michelle is terrific. We always try and get there when Savannah is waitressing because she is the best.... I've only ever had one bad food item and the cook remade it for me. I've just never had a bad experience eating here.
