Travelodge by Wyndham Pelham Birmingham

When I arrived at the hotel I immediately notice it reeked of tobacco smoke and It smelled like sombody had just got done smoking in the lobby after I checked in I went to grab my stuff from the car and proceeded to my room. The entrance from which I would enter my room was cowded by a bunch of people drinking and smoking marijuana. After an awkward 15 minutes or so of trying to bring my belongings in and avoiding these sketchy people finally settled down in my room. Upon entering my room I noticed the scent of mold and cockroaches filling the air. After this unpleasant welcome I decided to sit down and watch television. Lucky for me I am a fan of cartoon network because that was the only channel available. After awhile I noticed that my sheets felt damp and I noticed very odd stains on them not to mention my blanket had cigarette burns all over it. After this I was ready to get the night over with and attempted to sleep. After about 10 minutes of laying down I started to get this excruciating pain in my back. It felt like I would of been better off sleeping on a sheet of plywoood I sucked it up and went to bed around an hour later I was awoken by people yelling and running through the hallways this continued until about 4 in the morning. So I got a total of 2 hours of sleep and I woke up in a lot of pain.i would never recommend anybody to stay here and the health department should get involved. Please don't EVER consider staying here unless you want to be disappointed.

This place is okay if you need somewhere to crash. It's affordable and not really bad just an old building. Check in was easy, the bed was big. Fridge, microwave, and a big tv with cable. The location is off to the side but didn't seem dangerous. Gas station right next door. There were several people hanging out in the front outside and it is off to the side behind semi parking so if you mind that then it's something to be aware of. Not bad especially for the price.

The room was clean. Bed was comfortable with clean sheets and two blankets. Staff was very polite. Would definitely stay again!

They stay is always pleasant with the best customer service and experience. The staff works hard to make sure that you have a great stay and to meet every expectation that you have requested.

It was a 2.5 star hotel with a reasonable price. Could of had better for double the price. My wife said she would not stay there again.
