Embassy Suites by Hilton Birmingham Hoover

Great stay; the complimentary happy hours from 5:30pm till 7:30pm was a plus. The breakfast was on point and delicious. Not to point fingers but she made a better omelet than he did. Both were very good. Lol. The drinks and omelets are free. However the bar tenders and chefs appreciated the tips consider bring some singles and/or a couple fives.

Very clean. Nice suite. Friendly staff. Plentiful complimentary breakfast. We had wings in the restaurant at dinner and they were fresh, not frozen, and well cooked. For the price, I would have expected celery sticks. Draft beers very expensive. Restaurant bill was not itemized and seemed high but we didn't ask or argue since we were tired and stressed from a long time on the road. Overall, we would book another stay when in the area.

I love embassy suites as a whole but I would not recommend this location. Staff was not friendly, no social distancing, no enforcement of mask, stains on the sheets, and not kid friendly. Food was good and the pool was good but that would be the only good things I have to say.

This was our second stay in Embassy Suites, with the first stay 2 years back. The staff were really great both times. Rooms were clean and the location is fantastic. The most memorable aspect is the hot breakfast and chef made omelettes. Even in the midst of the COVID situation, they have managed to keep everything under control while providing excellent service. I recommend everyone to stay for a night and enjoy the hospitality

We booked this hotel via Hotels.com while on the road driving from Raleigh to Dallas. We stayed in this neighborhood on a previous drive and really liked the neighborhood. There are lots of places to eat nearby and easy to access from the highway.nnWe booked a room with two queens and ended up getting a giant room that was basically a 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom apartment. It was clean with nice furnishing and amenities. It was a great place for us - two adults and two toddlers. We only needed to stay fo one night. Our major concern was the lobby - it was full of people hanging out and eating/drinking without masks on. Not exactly the kind of place you want to be in the middle of a deadly pandemic. We have stayed at several hotels since the pandemic began and this was the first one that had its lobby and restaurant area open. After checking in, we made a beeline to our room and left via the parking garage in the morning to avoid the lobby.
