This is one of the best places to get something to eat or a sweet treat, I come here every time I come to Hinton.nnThe chili dogs are like a delicacy they're so good, the chili is like a sauce and the buns just have that taste to them that makes them unique. Paired with some of their fries and a drink, it's a good meal.nnYou get a great view of the river in the dining room if you sit by the windows.
This has always been a favorite of mine since my childhood! They have incredible food and service! You just can't get Dairy Queen like Hinton Dairy Queen.
Obviously this is an iconic restaurant in southern West Virginia but you can really tell there has been a decline in cleanliness, quality and most of all service since the change in ownership. The folks taking the orders at the window need some basic training on how to interact with customers in regard to politeness, professionalism and attention to the customer. Just sad to see the decline after so many years of great service.
Always Fun you can go to the back dining area and see the river or they have seating out side..Nice to go with friends and family.
The hinton DQ is legendary and lived up to it's reputation.
