Would of been a 5, but the compass spams me with covid emails and so many other emails, I didn't even see I had to get tested for covid. Once I found out it was too late and I have to pay a 100$ fine which is absolutely ridiculous. I have been tested multiple times throughout the semester and received my vaccine. Very dissatisfied.

Beautiful campus, helpful signs around the campus to know where the buildings are, & great teaching staff.

Large enough to serve the needs of the student body, small enough to still feel like a small town atmosphere, and a very caring staff. They do their best to encourage students to reach their goals. High academic standards, lower expenses, overall a much better value.

As a Theatre alumni who can recommend the fine arts professors and education during my time at the university, I can no longer endorse this institution. I can unfortunately no longer refer prospective students to this institution because of their lack of transparency in the sudden cutting of the music and theatre degree programs. The discontinuation of social media input (tagging, check ins, etc) to air my grievances is also a red flag that they are currently not interested in engaging with the community on this matter. While the training I received at Fairmont State has proven invaluable, their priorities have changed for the worse. Please consider universities interested in the breadth and depth of a liberal ARTS education.
