I found this vet by accident & I am thoroughly impressed!nnI brought my 9 week old puppy here to have her first appointment today. I had originally scheduled an appointment with a different vet, and carelessly slept right through the appointment. After trying to reschedule, I called about 7 vet’s & was told I would have to wait until June for her first appointment.nnMargaret found me an appointment an hour from when I called, & I was able to get my sweet Nita in! Our vet tech (Andy/Andi?) was so friendly & sweet; she went through our estimate for our first & next appointment.nnThe doctor took plenty of time to answer my questions (Food recommendations, etc) & explain her responses, and finished our conversation by saying I could call whenever I had a question, no matter how random.nnI even ended up calling back with more questions and the receptionists were quick to make sure Nita was doing alright after her vaccines!
The staff was great btw so my issues were not with them.. The problem was with the vet himself as I had to wait over an hour to see him just so that he could look at my dog for a few minutes and tell me something I already knew. What should have been maybe a 20 minute visit took almost 90 minutes because the vet was nowhere to be found! Just flat out infuriating as it made me late to pick up my child from school among other things. Have something planned after? Might want to change them as you may be there a while longer.
First contact was by phone and I was given exact accountability on how much each service would cost. This turned out to be accurate. I was reminded of my appointment by email and given a a choice of acceptance or decline.nProtocol, is to alert the office by phone when you arrive. Then an attendant takes your animal inside. Lastly, you are called to come in when the room is ready. Mask protocol observed but the room was too small for the social distancing. A pleasant encounter for a first time patient. The prices were quite reasonable compared to the scalping I received from my last vet.
Amanda is wonderful. She is worth her weight in gold. She found the right profession and is very caring with your pets.
Very considerate with my cat. They talked about what it could be with just looking. Had to get an xray done to find out what was wrong with my cat. Price was very reasonable. Will return
