U-Pack

Prompt delivery and pickup. I had a local mover load for me which was a disaster, but the UPack/ABF driver went above and beyond to fix the load. He was amazingly helpful! Thanks UPack! Your drivers are fantastic!

Overall I am impressed with the service. Drop off and pick up if the U-pack trailer was very prompt! The only issue we had is that it took 4 days longer to receive the trailer (cross country move) then originally quoted. However, I believe this was due to COVID complications. They had furloughed a lot of the drivers and they could not bring drivers back fast enough to keep up with demand. I think this is understandable and considering we had to move during a pandemic the company did well!

This is our fourth time using UPack and the service has been amazing every time. Phone service has been professional and responsive, and delivery and retrieval of the trailer have been right on time. The trailers and cubes are always clean and easy to load. We have used POD (with issues) and a mover (with major issues), and it has been a great relief to be able to depend on a product during a stressful time. Prices have been competitive compared to other moving services.

Drop off and pick up of our ReloCubes I n Albuquerque was a smooth process. It all happened on time and the drivers were friendly and professional.nnTwo of our ReloCubes arrived in Louisville on time, and that driver was very friendly and helpful. The third ReloCube arrived a couple of days later, on Thursday. This one was quite problematic. Apparently, the company’s forklift or flatbed truck, one or the other (we got different stories), had broken down, so they sent a different type of delivery vehicle. They used a ramp to slide the reload cube off of the back of the truck onto the gravel driveway. Since it was a fully packed ReloCube, this involved jostling ReloCube back-and-forth and using multiple straps attached to other straps that were attached by the driver to our neighbors’ non-permanent/mobile building structures in order to pull the very heavy cube down a ramp onto a gravel driveway. My partner and neighbors (who had come out to see what the heck was going on) were literally hiding behind things because everyone was afraid that it was going to fall over on someone or that one of the straps was going to break and slingshot out... it was a horrible experience.nnI then scheduled the cube to be picked up the next day, but it was not. Then I called again on Friday and they said it would be picked up on Monday. When I called on Monday to make sure they were coming, they informed me that they did not have me on the schedule for the day and had no record of my previous calls. However, the dispatcher on that day was very helpful and got the cube picked up properly with a forklift. So, my experience at my destination was mixed, to say the least.nnI really wish that the company would have called us before the delivery of the third ReloCube to let us know what was going on. Instead of assuming that our choice would be to put ourselves in a dangerous situation just so that we could unload sooner, I wish they would have employed informed consent. There is no way I would have chosen that experience. Safety should always come first. Especially in the middle of a pandemic, when a trip to the emergency room could mean that someone not only has crushed bones but also gets a deadly virus. Their decision making was irresponsible and reprehensible.
