I would give them no stars if it was allowed. They do not answer the phone, ever. Calls are routed to a voicemail system that is always full. So it is impossible to ask a question or leave a message. How are we supposed to do business with them? They serve a very large geographical area (several states, not just the Houston area). They have every obligation to assist individuals over the phone so we can plan accordingly. I have dealt with them for over a decade. This is their standard operating procedure. It is disgraceful and makes the Chilean government look bad.
Everyone is nice and efficient, especially in this COVID times!
I have called several times during business hours and no one answers the phone, how are you supposed to get help to if you cannot speak with anyone there.
Staff were really polite
Chilean consulate personnel is very friendly, typically you can complete your errands in very short time. Only one time there was several people when we arrived so we had to wait a bit.
