I have had to go to this consulate many times over the years. They have just moved into a new office and I met new people. I had another good experience with this office. I was there to help my sister who lives in another state. Odila was absolutely wonderful. Very helpful, respectful, efficient and sweet. It is obvious she really cares about the people she is serving. She went out of her way to carefully explain and guide me through the process. It is so nice to deal with people who really care about doing a good job. She gets a 10!

The consulate insists to remain closed even when the majority of other business are reopening already. This should be classified as a essencial service and they must be operating in person. They insist to submit the passport process through mail. However they are not responsible if USPS miss the package (of course). So, they must provide a drop off option for those that don't want to submit original documents via mail. They must be more flexible with us and it's a shame that I'm having to have this kind of discussion with them.

I used USPS as instructed on their website. Except that the directions are wrong, because all I needed was a very specific poa. The second step threw me off. I keep getting a message that the address is incorrect, but it’s not, because I did the 1st step using the address. There is no number to call, no one to help out and my power of attorney is somewhere between Houston and Austin. It’s always an issue having to deal with Brazilian institutions. Can somebody give me a tip on how to get my POA back?nThanks

If you need someone with expertise and also empathy, Odila is your person. We had the best service in hard times. Can't thank her enough for all her help.

They are always very helpful! But what brought me here today, was that I needed help from them recently. I booked a last minute emergency trip to Brasil and found out that my passport was expired. I was lucky to find Odila. She was very quick to answer me, went out of her way to help me out and made sure I had my passport on time for my trip. My family and I were already a bit out of hope but she and her team at this office made it happen. THANK YOU EVERYONE for all you do for us. It is really nice and comforting to know that we have our people here and that you care. Obrigadaoooo!!!!!
