Fabiana was great at helping me with the passport paperwork. Although the system had some issues , she was able to help me.nIf you are trying to reach the consulate I’d suggest trying Facebook, it worked for me.

The girl that was working wasn't friendly and was on her cell phone the whole time we were there. We waited about 10 minutes before she came out, then she went to the back for 15 to 20 minutes and when she came back she was still on her cell phone. My husband asked her if he has to be tested for the covid 19 before he can go to Bolivia and she said yes and turned around and walked away.nHe wanted to find out how long before his flight does he need tonhave the covid 19 test and is there any shots he needs to get before flying to Bolivia. It was a bad experience for us, we drove fromnDallas to Houston and wasn't even greeted properly.

If only all consulates were as professional as the Bolivian consulate in Texas! I called the consulate twice (once about the visa form, and once about the tourist visa process) for information that I couldn't find on their web site.nnBoth times (!) my call was answered by a Bolivian representative (a man) both knowledgeable and sympathetic. I was very impressed and look forward to a great experience as a visitor to Bolivia. Try calling a US government office and getting somebody to actually answer the phone and politely provide relevant information!

Finally some Answers! I tried using the Los Angeles Consulate to get a Bolivian Visa. No answers nothing at all not one answered the phones. This Houston Office However is an officially working consulate providing quality services. This Houston Office serves the public exactly how it should be served. Thank You to the staff for your help and giving me the clarity to travel to La Paz for the first time ever with confidence. Bolivia will me magical...
