Atomic Gaming Cafe/ Sweets in the Sky Bakery

Ignore all the old reviews, the place is now a shop for trading card games (Like Pokemon cards and Magic the Gathering). They have a small kitchen but nothing extravagant like wedding cakes. My buddy said they make pretty good smoothies. They also have a small selection of canned sodas.

Pretty cool place! I mostly wanted to see their Pokémon cards, however, it is still growing so I will need to wait for a little ud83dude04 it is a very welcoming store with friendly staff that is always happy to help! Highly recommend if you’re in the Magic the Gathering community.

Do not order your wedding cake here. I had a poor experience and Naomi has not replied to my concerns after over a month after my wedding, even though she was very responsive before. She has organization issues and doesn't understand how a wedding timeline usually works.nnOn the week of the event, Naomi emailed to confirm the flavors and had the bridal cake flavor originally incorrect. I'm glad she confirmed so I could correct her, though it was a bit worrisome. Because my wedding cakes were small, I opted for self pick-up because Naomi was unable to deliver the cakes on the wedding day after the venue opened. It's a small bakery and I can understand limitations, though I wonder how brides with much larger cakes handle this situation.nnJust days before the wedding, Naomi recommended getting someone to pick up the cakes just 2 hours before the ceremony so they wouldn't melt, especially the buttercream bridal cake. This is ridiculously impractical as this is too large of a favor to ask a wedding guest and all close family and bridal party members have to be at the venue early in the morning. Why didn't she mention this months ago when we met, not a few days before the event?nnOn the day of my wedding, the assistant was completely unprepared. She wasted 45 min for what should have been a 10 min pick-up process for finding a cake box, assembling a cake box, and finding a cake stand. She charged us for a cake stand even though all expenses were taken cared of before at an in-person appointment. This caused delays in an already tight wedding day timeline.nnNaomi said buttercream would be better for my bridal cake because of taste. However, as a professional, she should have known that wedding cakes are often displayed for guests to view, so she should have mentioned buttercream will melt. I should have insisted on fondant. The ombre look didn't come out that great in buttercream and the bridal cake lacked proper support so it toppled over on the way to the venue. Thankfully my awesome wedding planner and florist saved my melted cake the best they could. The grooms cake looked like the design, but it looked unpolished. It was fondant so it fortunately held up well, but the rectangular layer looked crooked and the printed sugar design on the bottom needed more trimming. The top red piping is very uneven. I'm not sure if it really looks like a $300 cake.nnThe cakes themselves tasted great and not too sweet, thankfully. I had a hard time finding a wedding cake baker who didn't bake cakes too sweet and was thankful that Naomi's cake samples were the right amount of sweetness. I had hoped to go back to Sweets in the Sky for all my future cake needs but after my experience, I absolutely will not order here again.

Ordered a cake last year for my mom. It came out amazing and tasted so good! Just stopped by to try the new mochi donuts. They are were delicious. Totally recommend sweets in the sky ❤ufe0f❤ufe0f❤ufe0f

I love their strawberry cupcake, it was the best cupcake I had ever... very moist and sweet just rightuff01 I can smell and taste strawberry inside of my cake. Nice!
