My friend was denied access to her medicine after a spinal surgery, because the pharmacist refused. Stating that the medicine could be dangerous when taken together, even after speaking with the doctor, Hamid Abi still refused. I’m not sure when or where he THINKS he received his PhD in neuroscience, but it looks as if he’s gravely confused. My friend went hours without medicine trying to sort out this mess, due to his incompetence and obvious inflated ego. Not to worry though, it seems that Walgreens is capable of staffing proficient pharmacists.
Absolutely the worst experience I have ever had with any pharmacist. Hamed Abi was rude, unprofessional, and refused to fill the prescriptions which my SURGEON prescribed, saying they were “dangerous together” Even after asking if I could have two out of the three prescriptions he still refused. I have him on a recorded phone call stating that my neurosurgeon made a mistake by prescribing these medicines. He seems to think he is smarter than my neurosurgeon. Absolutely stunning ignorance. The next pharmacy did not understand why he did this and filled the medications without issue.
The pharmacist asked me questions as if she was my Dr.. Wanting to know my symptoms, what my problem was, why I took both the medications my Dr prescribed. And basically told me I was not taking the right kind and amount of meds? Was upset my dr never called her but as it turned out they never contacted my dr office and requested that he contacted them. Very messy experience!!!!
