I brought in an old violin to appraised for restoration. Even though the violin was not worth restoring, the owner took a good amount of time looking it over, and telling me its history or, at least, her educated guess as to its history. Looking at all the custom-made and antique violins hanging around the shop, it's not hard to see why this shop is so highly rated!
Always excellent service from people who love what they do and are great doing it.
This shop took care of my very detailed musical needs to a degree not available at big box music stores. I highly reccomend entrusting your musical needs to these people who care.

The owners are wonderful. Honest and VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE. I'd spoken to 3 other violin shops before speaking with them (they were a bit of a drive for me so they were last on my list) and none of the other shops offered me a solution to my problem other than selling me a new violin. From the first conversation on the phone I knew they could help me, and when I brought my violin in to them, I felt very confident leaving my violin in their care.
