PODS Moving & Storage

My storage unit was delivered incorrectly and did not latch due to poor placement. Driver stated there was nothing he could do.. When I contacted customer service the lady was friendly and understanding however she was unable to assist me because she didn't know what to do and was unable to reach anyone to get answers. Even though I called same day to report the problems and stated I would not be able to use the pod and wanted to cancel my order because I needed to have my property placed immediately due to schedule of movers and wanted a refund since it was an error on pods, I'm still unsure if I will ever see my money for a unit I didn't use. Plus the extra money I spent solving their issues by keeping my movers overtime and finding alternative storage.

If I could give zero stars I would. DO NOT USE PODS!!!nI moved last August with pods, and on the first delivery the driver did not pay attention to some very simple instruction on delivery and in the end destroyed an area of pavers in my driveway. I was even there upon delivery and verbally told the driver, yet he did not listen. I have been fighting with them for 7 months trying to resolve the issue. I received several estimates to fix the issue, but PODS has only tried to pay half of the damages done to my property. PODS customer service is simply a joke, and they still have not resolved the issue to date.

Greatly facilitated my unusual move situation by allowing me time to deal with all the freight.nDelivery driver could have been more helpful but he arrived after dark.nOverall very useful and have already recommended to others.

Do Not USE PODS. They will not deliver on time, they will not pick up on time, they will not re-deliver in a timely manner. We slept on the floor for 2 weeks. Had to buy a couch just to have something to sit on. Lost help because they didn't deliver on time. I incurred extra expenses because of this and their small $200 discount didnt cover. I ended up doing 90% of the move by myself because i never knew when to ask for help or schedule help due to their piss poor time management. Just because the weather isnt good, doesn't mean you cant deliver, the post office was still delivering.

Pods allows for absolutely no flexibility. I wouldn’t recommend to any of my friends or family. When you’re moving you need to know times earlier than the day before and the time they do give you is **** because they basically just show up whenever they feel like it and “that’s what’s in your contract.” They don’t allow for any requests or try and be accommodating in any way. That’s just how they work. If I were to move again I would not use them again. Their customer service model is the worst I’ve ever seen. I don’t know how they get away with running their company this way. There is enough stress when moving and trust me PODS will only add to that.
