We had a wonderful experience with Cardinal Cabinets! John was so responsive from the first moment in the shop. We knew nothing about having new cabinets made and installed, and he was with us every step of the way. He was also there at the installation and afterwards just to be sure everything was done to specifications. We could not be happier! I would recommend them highly.

Unfortunately my experience with the company is rather poor. Some of the cabinets and drawers were defective and installed anyway. When I requested replacement Cardinal Cabinetworks was not very enthusiastic about doing so. However after my persistence they replaced some defective parts, for the rest I got a 'special marker and a crayon' to paint over the defects. Full professionalism. The inside shelves where all defective and I was told this is how these pieces are manufactured and they can order hundreds of them and they will all look like that. A sobering statement about the quality this company represents. The panel that goes next to the fridge was ordered three times, each time it was missing a paint on the majority of the surface and each time we had to wait a couple of weeks for its delivery. On the top of that there was not enough room for the fridge in the designated space even though the cabinets were designed by Cardinal Cabinetworks. Cardinal cabinetworks hires contractors to do the installation and in a result the installation party refused to place the fridge it in the designated space because they didn't want to take responsibility for the potential damage. A that point my husband and I were so frustrated we pushed the fridge ourselves and I don't think it will ever come out...nI am writing this review over a year since the cabinet installation, motivated yet by an another failure. While designing cabinets I asked about the need to fortify the surface on the cabinets underneath the sink as they are going to have contact with water. There is always a chance of water splash. Even if you wipe it right away, which I always do. I was told I shouldn't worry about that because the cabinets are well made. And I can tell you there are not. The paint chipped and now I have to deal with a bare wood, picture attached, in a pretty new kitchen. To sum up, Cardinal Cabinetworks are, unprofessional, poor quality and not trustworthy. I think I would have been happier with the IKEA and saved lots of money.

It was a blessing to find Cardinal Cabinets to have our kitchen remodeled. We recently moved to N.C. and a relative of a neighbor highly recommended this company to do the job. Since the first time Paul came to meet us in our home we knew by his experience and professionalism that this was the best people to hire and we were right. After several quotes and meetings with others Cardinal Cabinets made a difference since day one. Paul and Ethan were very helpful giving me ideas and getting exactly what I had in mind for my kitchen. They agreed to come once again to my house to measure the area where I wanted a center peninsula island and then again to meet with the contractor. Ethan was always eager to help me with questions and answering my messages immediately. Their crew of workers and installers are all awesome, very pleasant and great in what they do. These guys are great! We highly recommend Cardinal Cabinets for kitchen cabinets and for anything related to wood work in your house or business for that matter. My husband and I are already thinking in remodeling our master bathroom and we will requesting their services without a doubt.nCardinal Cabinets thank you for a fine job and professionalism with the making of our kitchen cabinets. My wife and I built a architect designed custom home in North Carolina. John Carey and the team at Cardinal Cabinetry were great partners on the project. We had a lot of custom work that needed to be done along with ordering 'standard' cabinetry. The fact that Cardinal is a real cabinet shop and builds custom pieces on site was a great advantage versus working with a 'big box' showroom cabinetry outfit. Sure, the 'box store' will have a lot on display and it is useful to look there, but the places we visited just didn't have the expertise to help with the more complex and custom work we also wanted done. Sitting in the informal less setting at Cardinal with the full attention of the staff while we worked out a plan was essential to the project.nnWhen you work with Cardinal, you are not just working with sales people, you are working with experienced craftsmen who build pieces on site. For example, we had a complicated wall (17 ft long and 6 ft high) designed with tile and wood that included space for a fireplace and television along with a bookshelf - it is the centerpiece to the living area and had to be just right. We also built a large custom french country center island in the kitchen. Working with Cardinal, we got exactly what we wanted in our home.nnWe very happy with our experience and recommend Cardinal Cabinetry to anyone building a home!

We had the pleasure of working with Cardinal on a complete renovation of two bathrooms and a kitchen. All went without problems, and we got just what we had planned. I also had a chance to see the behind the scenes tour of where the cabinet magic happens. Very professional job start to finish! Easily 5 Stars!
