We are very happy with everything we bought and feel that we got great value for a reasonable price.nnWe are very happy with the L&P Prodigy Comfort Elite adjustable split-king bed frames and custom latex mattresses that we purchased from Sleep Essentials. I wish we had made this purchase much sooner in our lives.nnThe latex mattresses from Build Your Own Mattress (a division of Sleep Essentials) are perfect. They are simultaneously soft and firm. For example, when I climb into bed I put my old, arthritic, knee into the soft mattress without pain and when I lay down the mattress supports me firmly while allowing just the right amount of give for shoulders and hips. This is by far the most comfortable mattress I have ever used and my wife says the same. Three layers of 3 inch latex mattresses with each layer a custom density. I built mine a little firm, my wife likes hers a little soft. We’ve had several mattresses including a couple of Tempurpedic, but this multilayer latex mattress is the most comfortable. And the price is reasonable.nnThe L&P Prodigy Comfort Elite adjustable split-king takes comfortable beds to a new level. Not only is it spacious and roomy, but the adjustability allows the bed to have multiple uses; a thing I always look for in any major purchase. We are retired but still active and the L&P Elite is now a great choice as a work area, a home theatre area, as well as a sleep area. My wife calls it her “Throne” and she enjoys reading books, using her tablet, or watching movies. I have taken to using it as my office if I am only writing or researching with my tablet.nnThe Prodigy Comfort Elite is the fully adjustable model and we use all the adjustments. Combining the Pillow Tilt adjustment with the Head adjustment is especially useful for me because it makes it easy to adjust the bed into a sitting-straight-up position. Then I use the Foot adjustment to raise my knees; I prefer it to sitting at a desk because the bed is comfortable for my damaged old knees.nnThe bed is also very comfortable when watching movies because, in a lounging arrangement, it simulates an astronaut’s couch and is quite comfortable.nnI am glad I opted for the memory and one-button functions. I typically choose the Memory One button for sitting up to work, the Memory Two button to lounge, and the FLAT button to lay the bed flat. The underbed lighting also gets used every night whenever we get up for our wee-hours wee. Neither my wife or I have sleep issues, but it's nice to know that there is a SNORE button that can temporarily adjust the bed to settle that issue and the head can be slightly raised up if there are any digestive issues.nnWe find the L&P bed with the Sleep Essentials mattress to be the perfect combination. The latex mattresses bend appropriately and then settle right back without any troughs or remaining bends.

You have to try one of these latex mattresses. The best sleep you will ever have. For a good price and delivery on top of it, I think it’s time to consider making the change! Plus, very friendly staff and great customer service.
