Do not sleep on this little mom and pop joint! Great cakes just like grandma makes. Great flavors and the right amount of frosting to cake ratio in my opinion. Wish I could visit every day but my waist line would hate me. On top of a great product the owners are VERY friendly people and have great customer service You might be able to get a slice for a bucks cheaper at a grocery store but that extra dollar is well worth the premier service and quality of product.

So.... this place is amazing. Not just because they have wonderful and deliciously tasting cake , but because I am a terrible mother and forgot to pick my cake up by 5 on Friday (for my kids birthday- retched mom here) and they called me and waited way after closing to let me get the cake. Completely my fault. And they didn’t have to. I asked her to leave it outside but she insisted this cake needed to be safe for pick up. Just some humane people that care for other people. I messed this up but they made it right. I am so grateful for her patience and understanding and I hope I didn’t mess up her Friday evening.

I just moved to Raleigh and happened on to this bakery. GO NOWHERE ELSE!!!! These beautiful works of art are the BEST CAKES, BROWNIES, ETC., I HAVE EVER EATEN. Made with the highest quality ingredients and expertise--I was in heaven. I am so pleased to have found this treasure.

Delicious! I cannot say enough good things about this place. Premier cakes is a black owned business that offers delicious cake slices with stellar customer service. Mrs. Tracey and Mr. Bobby feel like old friends whenever I go to pick up my cakes. Ordering a large cake is so easy and each order is always perfect. I have never had a bad experience at this business. I highly recommend you try their cakes, some of my favorites are the sweet potato, tres leches, coconut, and tiramisu.

Very tasty cakes, never disappointed. I just wish they had some Saturday hours, even if it's a 2 hr window for orders only. I would go more often, it is very hard to run across town during their operating times during the week.
