Dennis in appliances is THE MAN! Always helpful and knowledgeable. Helped us find a freezer that we thought couldn't be found. I have bought 4 major appliances from him now. Will come for his expertise the next time we need something.
I wouldn't encourage a homeowner to arrange a delivery from this store. When I wanted certain items that were too heavy to carry, I was told that having the items delivered would be a simple, timely process. Not so. Lowes either wanted to deliver on heavy rainy days, or the delivery days kept changing with no follow up. On one day, I rearranged my entire schedule to await the delivery, only to be contacted in the afternoon with another delay into the following week. When I had enough and called the store to ask what was going on, excuses were made. When I looked into the matter even more, I learned that I had been placed on the back burner for bigger orders from contractors who needed their items delivered (An employee at the store confirmed this to me.) After several attempts to arrange a delivery date that continued to be delayed, It became clear that I would not receive my delivery anytime soon so I simply canceled the order and called a different company to help me with my projects. Since this incident, I have talked to several customers who have experienced the exact same problem with Lowes, so thought it would be a good idea to caution other homeowners. If you need items to be delivered, you may want to consider a different merchant.
