Great food and atmosphere! Staff is great, really nice and responsive. Food comes out super fast and fresh. I don't live in the area but intend to visit this place each time I'm in town!
Great bar in Sanford. Excellent specials. Well made drinks from excellent bartenders (and servers as well). Must try. Also excellent occasional live performances from street people.
Nice atmosphere, great service, food came extremely quick. Several craft beers to choose from. The BBQ sandwich was good and the side of choice I recommend is the cheesy potatoes! Was after lunch before dinner so it wasn't overly crowded. If ever in the area would stop by again!
I go 20 minutes out of my way to visit this place, and it’s worth it.nnVery nice pub, large variety of beer on tap. Generous portions. The Brisket (my fav) usually comes out excellent but once it was dry (which is why it lost a star). You can ask for the charred brisket tips, which they sometimes have. Service is fast (10-15 min) and always spot on accurate. Wifey prefers the pulled pork. Mac and cheese is very good (again, 4 of 5 stars) but it’s not a Poole Diner Mac n cheese — the gold standard in my book. Greens are average. Go there... you won’t be sorry.
Was heading back to the office after a work trip. Sanford was on the way home. We stumbled upon Smoke and Barrel and we were both so impressed! I had the Bahn Mi. it was delicious. The smashed potatoes are to die for. The atmosphere was great as was the service. If I'm ever in Sanford again I will definitely be going back!
