Have been a member of La Vida for 5 plus years. When I first became a member you could call in and easily schedule a massage the same week, sometimes same day or two day wait time.nnI’m charged $59.95 monthly and La Vida is ALWAYS on time taking their payment. Problem is over the last several months the availability for massages has decreased to the point that I’m having to schedule 2-3 weeks out and my last 5 requests for appointments have either not fit into my schedule or has been canceled by La Vida.nnI spoke to Haley (manager) this morning and was told they’ve been “really busy with holiday coupons”. I asked the same question two weeks ago and was told they’re having issues hiring masseurs. A month ago I was told it was COVID issues.nnBottom line is they’re charging me monthly fees for services I’m unable to use. I’ve asked to speak with Larry the owner and I’ll be requesting a refund due to inability to use my 16 (that’s right) 16 90 minute accrued massages.nnBeing a member does not give you priority with appointments yet my membership fees have helped them build their business. That growth has turned them from an extremely member friendly, easy to schedule business to a company that can no longer fulfill convenient scheduling.nnIt took me three weeks wait to schedule back surgery last year. Getting a massage shouldn’t take that long if the customer base is being properly managed.

Great place. Friendly and talented staff. They take every precaution to keep everyone safe and healthy.

I had my first massage at LaVida with Shakira and it was wonderful! The staff is friendly and take appropriate precautions during coronavirus and Shakira is a master at working out sore spots and stress. I would highly recommend both LaVida and Shakira!
