Big Lots

This location gets a 5 star rating from me. I LOVE the variety of selected items at this place. My only purpose for shopping here today, was for a few food, household and ladies products. I came in at the right time; P&G brand products had a store promotion; buy $30 or more of their branded products such as Pantene, Tide, Gain, Downy, Charmin's and or Colgate products and they'll mail you a $10 Big Lots gift card, with proof of purchase. I didn't hesitate to take advantage of that offer, and stocked up on household goods. I love a good deal. Also, this store has numerous hard to find sparkling drinks, flour, and good ole' fashioned craft sodas in the glass bottles. I can't forget to add an honorable mention of their broad selection of furniture such as living room sectionals, bed frames, mattresses, and dining sets.

The store was very nice and clean. They had multiple empty shelves but was also putting out spring items. The reason for 4☆ instead of 5☆ was my friend and I were looking at the Christmas items left. My friend saw the 90% off on one of the aisle, so we assumed all Christmas stuff was 90% off. As we are going to the front cashier to check out, we were not even to the register, when one of the ladies just yelled out and said all that stuff is not 90% off it is just 25% off. So I got closer to the register and started holding things up and said, so this is not 90% off? She said none of the stuff you have is 90% off but 25% off. My friend said we don't want it then so I will go put it back. My shopping cart was full and neither of the ladies at the front counter offered to put it up. I told my friend I would have left the cart right there for them to put back, but she was nice and put the stuff back. I guess the only thing that was on sale was food because I did buy a box of chocolate for 60 cents.n☆☆ when I said she yelled, she did not actually yell,☆☆ but talked real loud and stearn. She could have waited until we got up to the counter and talked in a normal voice and said she was sorry but the Christmas items are only 25% off and also when My friend said she was going to put it back they should have said, there is no need to, we will take care of it. I have worked in retail before. But I do commend the workers there because the store was very clean.nThank you,nDebbie

Don’t come in to this place to buy furniture. The customer service is laughably bad. I came in two different times to attempt to buy furniture and neither time did they actually have the department staffed. After standing around for 15 to twenty minutes the associate finally showed up and started assisting a customer who arrived after we did. Second time, same situation. No real interest in making sales from what I could tell. Whatever works for your business, I suppose

It was an okay experience. I was unable to find what I was looking for. The store was clean and waiting in line went quickly.

The store is bigger now that it moved to this location. It's a bit tougher to get to because of the mall traffic but can't go wrong with big Lots.
