(Update) won’t be shopping at Publix as I don’t want to support anti American causes. Really nice store.nnEverything was fresh, and the displays were attractive. Wish there was a little more variety, but still a lot of good stuff. Prices were higher than I would like but it seemed worth it for the quality. Employees were friendly. I won’t do my regular shopping here but I will be back.
Nice clean store! Has a good selection of organic items and the store brand is good too. I love the buy one get one free.
I live in Tennessee but contacted this Publix in Weaverville because I needed a fruit basket delivered to family members who live there. The entire staff was very helpful and kind but have to give a particular shout-out to Elizabeth (Prepared Foods), Michael (Produce)and Deniece (Catering) for their most-efficient assistance, patience & compassion. This team truly did go above and beyond!
I'm from Florida and have shopped Publix for 45 years. Was very pleased to have a Publix near me when I moved to N. AVL 2 years ago. I'm still adjusting to the Weaverville Publix. Maybe it's issues with the pandemic but I find they're out of stock on sale items, and the checkout lines are long or few are open more times than I'm used to.
I’ve been in grocery stores all over and I’ve never encountered a friendlier bunch of store employees. It was a pleasure shopping there today. I’ll be in Weaverville for the next few months and this will be my regular grocery stop for sure.
