If you want good food and great service, this is the place. I like the variety and the attentive employees. They took away the raspberry lemonade. The pancakes are perfect. The hamburger steak is amazing. You can have turkey, pork sausage or bacon.. I only get the turkey bacon. There is old school candy. My wife and I had a terrible experience here. It was a Saturday afternoon about 2:30 and when we walked in it took five minutes for a hostess to come to the front. Once we finally did get seated we waited a little while and finally had to get another waitress to go find our waitress. All in all the food was not very good, or warm for that matter. The service was not good at all and when we spoke to the manager about our experience, he tried to make excuses and seemed a little clueless about what was going on in his restaurant. He did offer us a gift card but we WILL NOT be returning to this location again. We used the gift card for this terrible meal since it was not offered to us for free because of our terrible experience. Extremely disappointing!!
The food was cold and nasty. The Mac b cheese had to taste. The tartar sauce taste like mayonnaise. The meatloaf was watery. The lemonades and Teas taste like colored sugar water.
Food was cold, order was wrong, seated next to 2 other tables in a pandemic when 8 other tables in that one section were empty (we were on vacation heading home before anyone makes a remark about eating out in a pandemic- I had no choice with 2 children), bathroom was filthy, kitchen manager acted like she didn't care that my order was wrong, cornbread muffins were burned, dumplings were bland and runny. So glad I don't live anywhere near there if that is the best they can do.
