The staff is friendly and helpful. We had the beer-battered haddock sandwich (lunch only). The brioche bread was soft and yielded nicely when bitting into it. The batter on the haddock was airy and crisp, the fish sweet and delicious. The tartar sauce with a touch of dill was tangy. The coleslaw was dressed with whole grain mustard and vinegar was delicious and something I'll continue to crave. I truly enjoyed this lunch and look forward to enjoying it again! Great food and coffee.
I have eaten here before the pandemic and everything was top notch. Today not so much. Pancakes were good but the breakfast sandwich was so so and the service a little haphazard. They left off a drink and a muffin and one waiter wasn't interested in helping us resolve the issue. I'll try it again and hope things get back to normal.
