We got two pieces of gooey butter cake to go, in order to experience an iconic St. Louis dessert. I brought one home to my mom, a native of the city. Everyone who tasted it enjoyed it; the cake was dense, very sweet and chewy, and heavy! Our only complaint was that there was a faint hint/taste of lemon, which wasn't unpleasant, but we all felt wasn't really supposed to be there in a plain slice. Still, not a bad way to round out a brief jaunt to St. Louis!

I ordered a Roblox cake for my 6 yo son’s birthday party and I wanted to let you guys know how great the cake tasted and he absolutely loved it. Thank you for making his birthday a great experience. I’ll be ordering more cakes in the future! Keep up the great work!

Big shout out to Pat who helped me SO MUCH! The individually wrapped birthday treat tray that they put together for my office function was amazing!!! Thank you all for keeping that tray COVID friendly! We will definitely be ordering again!

I used to love McArthur's Bakery, it was a mile from work and convenient to the point I went a few times a month. In the last 6 months that's all changed. Now it's no donuts, no Danish, and very disappointing... When I walked in today for a Danish, I already knew donuts were gone, I was informed Danish were by prior order only. So all breakfast items have been eliminated but there's cases of cakes. So if you're in the market for a cake, McArthur's Cakes will have that.nnI guess COVID-19 is to blame but it's still disappointing to see a business drop their best items.

Got our wedding cake from here, because their baked goods are so good, of course their wedding cakes would be spectacular too, right?!?! WRONG!!! the cake was so ugly, terribly disappointed!!!!! It looked nothing like what I anticipated, I was so embarrassed of my wedding cake, on my wedding day...... Baked goods are great, but they need major help in the wedding cake arena
