This was my first visit and it was based on the previous reviews I saw for this establishment. My nails on my right hand are shorter than the nails on the left and it's obvious. I got dip powder and it's not smooth, you can see lumps and dents where it wasn't evenly buffed or applied. The lady that did my nails said she was the owner and she was working on my nails and 2 other ladies. She appeared exhausted and it was late in the evening so I didn't put up a fuss. Plus it was the night before Christmas eve so I even gave a tip. The place was clean and staff was respectful. I would recommend going during the day not evenings and hopefully when they aren't running on their last wind so you'll get a good outcome for what you paid for. However, I won't be returning

I absolutely love Oceanic Nails!!!!!!! My whole family and friends come here and we absolutely love everyone who works here!!!!! I go to NiNi (the owner) the best person I have ever let do my nails.... I have created a bond with her and her service is nothing but phenomenal!!!!! The quality of this nail spa is above any of the spas I have been to in the Waldorf/White Plains area. They are very patient and kind and willing to work with you!!!! This was my first visit. I was in the area and saw that they had really reviews. I got my color changed and my nails cut down. When the tech cut my nails down, she didn't even check to see if each hand was the same. I had to keep telling her to cut down certain nails some more. I left not really pleased, I love the color, but my nails aren't really even. The tech was nice though.

I love gel manicures, but I hate how over time, it lifts and snags my children’s hair during styling—this is when I know I need to go to the nail salon so scheduling appointments doesn’t really work for me. I walked in and was seated immediately after checking in. I love that they took their time, both for removal and application. My only suggestion for improvement . . . not just here, but any establishment referring to themselves as a “spa” should offer a complimentary beverage at minimum.
