CHOBAS African Kitchen & Bakery

Tasty food and clean restaurant. Overall staff friendliness or kindness is okay, but they could be a little more patient and understanding when taking customer orders, because not everyone is familiar with this type of food. The food is filling and I and my friends will return, because there is an obvious intent by the restaurant to satisfy all orders with clean/healthy, hot, well portioned and prepared meals.

Ok, this is my third time here and You know the saying... three times a charm right? The first time, my food was delivered and it was not good; the second time they were out of what I wanted and what I ordered was sub par at best. Honey.... this third time yesterday! Oh my! I ordered what I wanted the okra soup with goat and fufu and man was it DELICIOUS!!!! It’s a lot pricey but worth it this time!

Nice customer service, very clean. Eba, Amala & Iyan are small portions but the Assorted meat soup is the biggest portion size I've seen in the area. Egusi is made diff from what I'm used to but delicious as well. Malta, ginger beer, water and juices are available. See photos.

My husband and I were looking for a new restaurant to try. We found CHOBAS on Google maps. Authentic African food?!?! We were excited to go there and try there delicacies. I didn’t get the nice young gentleman’s name who assisted us. We told him it was our first time there, and he was pleased to show us all of the menu items they offer. Everything looked delicious, so I had the goat meat with stewed rice. My husband had the chicken with stewed rice. They were both delicious!! We also had their donuts(I forgot the name of it), and those were amazing!! I definitely recommend this place. Excellent food and exceptional customer service! We will be going back for sure!!nThank you for offering this!
