Baymont Inn & Suites by Wyndham Hammond

It looks newly renovated, great customer service, amazing clean rooms, super comfortable beds & restrooms are spacious, pet friendly, super friendly staff, the only down side (hence the 3 star only rating) and it is constructive criticism, if you advertise services & know they're not available at the moment, then let your guests know as soon as they check-in and the least you could do is to give like a 5% discount for the inconvenience. Like in this case, they did not had a guest laundry ready for use, never found the ice machine, and the free breakfast was not available but we still paid full rate.nnNOTE: I reported a toilet malfunction the morning we arrived and 3 days later when we left was never taken care of. It did not change my liking of the hotel or the great stay we had but it was inconvenient to listen to the water running day & night.nnI will definitely return even with the mishaps, because of the great staff, cleanness and comfort we felt.

The outside of the building is very out dated and kinda run down. But the inside of the building is redone but cheaply. When we got to our room there was NO HOT WATER! The phone didn’t work, and the lock was busted off on the door.... wasn’t impressed at all! It’s CHEAP. That’s about it.

BEWARE!!!! the photos that are displayed for this hotel are fake!! The manager at the time (02/17/21) of check in was not professional and ill-prepared as a manager of this hotel!!! When asked for a refund, we were denied! If it is your policy, I can accept that but not if the pictorials are not what was advertised! Deplorable!! NEVER, EVER AGAIN!!!! I wouldn't recommend to even let my pet dog to reside in such a place. Oh, and not to mention the suspicious guests and activity that take place. Definitely not secure and conducive for a stay!!!

All of our belongings that we had just bought from the store was thrown away. We spent like 50.00. We were not refunded for things thrown away. The water was cold the night we did stay and weboay almost 300 for 2 nights. THERE IS NO LAUNDRY ON SITE. They went in our room and stripped the bed without us asking for our room to be cleaned. They put the pillows in one chair and thr blankets in another chair. We will not be going back. When I called this morning to make sure money was refunded guy was very rude. HORRIBLE

The entrance to this hotel can be rather tricky. The directions on Google maps lead people way off course taking one to the Frontage road over the overpass past the hotel equals to about three miles off course. Rooms are nice but sometimes the prices but steep.
