The cemetery appears to have very little to no upkeep. Grass is dead, ground is dry. Bald patches across the entire cemetery. Little to no landscaping makes a depressing place even more depressing. Not a very welcoming place to visit those who have passed on.
We visited for my great Aunts funeral and this location felt very peaceful and surrounded by beauty. It sits up on a hill with prominent mountains and open fields. Although the location could benefit from a few more shade trees, especially during hot summer months. I also liked the entry gate, it just seemed welcoming and appropriate for a country cemetery. You can smell farm animals are nearby, but it seems appropriate once again for my Aunt having grown up on a farm and having enjoyed following her family rodeo events. Peaceful, restful, rural country cemetery.
This is a really neat cemetery with a great view. It is also a veteran's memorial with a soldier from the civil war buried here. It can get pretty hot here in the summer and is in need of some trees for shade.
