Very lackluster product and terrible service. Their pastries are really pretty, but they are nothing more than sugar sculptures with very little flavor. They are each like a blank food canvas with no flavoring to paint a picture. I had the best looking, yet worst tasting strawberry tart ever, which cost roughly $8.00. It was so bad, I had to spit out the first bite. The crust was stale. The dark and white chocolate coatings were so bland and tasted like nothing but sugar glaze with food coloring and the strawberries were mushy. This bakery is all bells and whistles with no soul..nothing more. They should concentrate on baking rather than being trendy. Nord's is our only good bakery. Otherwise you need to go a restaurant or find an out of town bakery to get quality pastries and desserts. Quality doesn't seem to matter when your target market is the hipster crowd or people looking to overpay for the sake of overpaying, with little regard for what they are getting, so long as it has flare and made it into local socialite-oriented publications. This is why Louisville will always be second rate.
went there on a saturday. service treated us so kindly. the bill was reasonable. feels similar to a restaurant in new york i loved.
I love this place. So many good things to choose from. Glad to have it downtown.
