such a great experience from the support i got over the phone to help me understand how and when I needed to check the appointment system, through getting my questions answered ahead of my appointment in regards to what documents I needed to bring, and the day of as well!nI can't say enough good things about renewing my passport and the consulate's commitment to continuing to provide vital services during this pandemic. and s/o to bo!

I have no complaints about my last visit to the Consulate. Everything went smoothly and this time the staff was very friendly and professional. Communicating with the Consulate via email before my visit was easy and convenient.nnWhen renewing my passport a few years ago, I had a vastly different experience. While I cannot judge if this was truly the new standard of interaction, I very much hope so! This is how Germans want to be represented in the U.S.A.

I came with all of my documents and copies ready to go. The staff were all very professional and courteous. Bo was incredibly helpful and even taught me a few things about passports & citizenship that I didn’t know. The best way to get an appointment is to cheek their website early in the morning. They only release appointments a few days in advance and only a few slots each day.

I just have to share my recent experience with the employees at the German consulate, especially Mr. Bo Meiron. Going above and beyond to help someone is an understatement. Due to my circumstances, I had a bunch of questions regarding my passport renewal. I've submitted my questions through their portal and Mr. Meiron called me back quickly and answered all of my questions. He was professional, knowledgable and very nice. My dealings with the consulate have never been easier.

Great experience start to finish! I had to apply for a new passport and was expecting some difficulty due to Covid but I received a quick email response with directions for the best way to book my appointment and then when my appointment day came, I had the absolute pleasure of working with Bo Meiron to apply for my passport! He was so much fun to speak with during the paperwork and made the process so easy. Thank you Bo for all of your help!!
