My husband and I had two pieces of furniture reupholstered at New York Upholstery and they turned out spectacularly. Both pieces look and feel amazing. One was an inherited armchair and the other a full length couch. The store has a good selection of quality fabrics. New York Upholstery has pick up and delivery of your furniture (for a small fee and worth it). They do excellent work for a good price. I wish I had more furniture to upholster! Some tips...if doing a large couch, you will be without it for 2 months so plan accordingly. Also be sure to take a photo of the fabric you choose and also take a swatch. Very important! I recommend New York Upholstery and plan on doing business there again.

I took my RV cushions here for recovering. The shop was really overwhelmed with work, but even so I got the finished cushions back before the estimated time. They are beautiful and the workmanship is fabulous! Very fair pricing. I would definitely recommend NY Upholstery! Wilmer was helpful and knowledgeable.

This place is wall to wall hazard a death trap of clutter and chaos... from the outside with broken down junk cars and tagless cars to the doorway with abandoned boards and pannel as well carpet in your walk way, not only that plus the sidewalk grown up.... and very outdated fabric choices. Over priced labor...I was quoted $1000 for a standard size couch. That was fabric and labor. I also was quoted $250 to do 4 pillows with my own fabric and filling. Needless to say I didn't use them their facility is dangerously dirty not a safe environment for customers. Where is city cod enforcement when you need them.
