The King's Donuts & Coffee

King Donuts & Coffee are more than just a donut shop. My husband and I went for their brunch. His favorite brunch food is chicken and waffle with an omelet and even though the omelet was not on the menu they made him one and it was amazing. All of the food was great. The restaurant was very cute and cozy. Definitely a must visit spot.

Went in for brunch with my family around 11:30a-12p. Dine in and ordered shrimp n grits, chicken n waffles, and meat breakfast bowl with side of potato hash. Food was delicious and well proportioned. Shrimp n grits are topped with brown gravy. Waffles are Belgian style with berries included. Potato hash taste like homemade fries. The best I ever had.

Iced latte + hazelnut is really good. I also got the sausage and egg sandwich which I enjoyed. So glad I got to eat here once during my travels. Best wishes to King's Donuts..your staff are awesome and your food is delicious. ud83dudc4d

Very nice staff. I am not sure why I came here because I don't eat sugar/sweets/pastries but my friend LOVED the donuts. They look and smell very fresh and the bread is soft and doughy. No wait on a rainy Sunday morning. The Kings Donuts make Dunkin look like a pauper.

Really, really want this place to win. Yes, the donuts are delicious and fresh, but unfortunately the operation, consistency, and atmosphere deserves a 1-star. No music playing. Can hear a pin drop, as you wait (way too long) for your order. You get the impression that the manager/owner's just don't care about the success.nnKing's is always out of certain donuts, or have not even filled up their donut case as peak hours hit. You cannot count on them having the donut you are looking for (yes, even the classic ones).nnExpect to wait over 20 minutes, even if you are the only one in the shop. Especially if you want anything other than a donut. Clearly underprepared and understaffed (and, again, the wait is awkwardly silent). The staff they do have is undertrained.nnI have been a repeat customer for a while, and I always given them another chance because they were a newer operation. However, someone needs to let them know how to improve their shop, so they don't lose business. The donut quality can only hold the shop for so long. I would rather drive an extra 10 minutes to the shop down the street, than wait for sub-par service and a non-enthusiastic staff.nnCould be a really cute shop for the community, but lacks the atmosphere, consistency, and operation. Hope to see things change (and then maybe they could support more consistent hours as well).
